Timshel Wildland
100% Grass-Fed and Finished Beef and Lamb, Forest-Raised and Heritage Pork in Nelson County, Virginia

Nelson County, Virginia Regenerative Farm joins the Commons Family!

Timshel Wildland is run by husband and wife team, Daniel and Morgan Griffith, along with their three children: Elowyn, Tecumseh, and Sequoia.

Located south of Charlottesville, Virginia and in the heart of Central Virginia, Timshel nurtures peace, grass-fed and finished beef and lamb, happiness, heritage hogs, and a multiplicity of wild and chaotic gardens that produce heritage poultry, heirloom vegetables, and fruits.

“Agriculture is in a bad way because it has failed to see the whole of communities … that management is a partnership based in community and not a dictatorship based in control,” writes Daniel.

Timshel Wildland is a 400-acre regenerative, process-led, and emergent conservation wildland. Since 2017, the land – once a horse farm turned degenerative commercial cattle farm – has been devoted to a pioneering reWILDING project.
